A burst water pipe left 2,390 residents of 590 homes in Palma without supply on Sunday. The municipal services agency Emaya cut off supply once technicians started repair work.
Around 7.30am, water started flooding the Avenida Alemania. Supply is expected to take until 6pm to be restored. Emaya suspect that the burst had to do with temperature changes.
