Covid data in the Balearics for July 11

The Balearic Ministry of Health today confirmed 166 new cases of Covid, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 293,494 in the Balearics since the start of the pandemic.

According to the data, 120 correspond to Mallorca, eight to Minorca, 15 to Ibiza and one to Formentera. There are a further 22 positives for which there is no record of the place of diagnosis.

The daily positivity test rate stands at 24.09% in the Balearic Islands. Meanwhile, the 14-day incidence rate is 354.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Ibiza currently has the highest incidence, with 468.5 cases, followed by Formentera, with 375.8 cases, Mallorca, with 350 cases, and Minorca, with 213.7.
