On Thursday, there were 3,693 cases, so there is a decrease of 505. The Thursday cases were Mallorca 2,718; Ibiza 498; Minorca 331; Formentera 31. For both days, as is now usual with the ministry's reports, some cases have not been assigned.
The test rate for the 3,188 cases is 35.93%, up by comparison with Thursday's 33.84%. The seven-day positivity test rate has risen from 33.33% to 33.95%.
The 14-day cumulative incidence in the Balearics has risen from 3239.1 to 3380.9. In Mallorca, this is up from 3108.3 to 3217.5; Ibiza from 4296.3 to 4480.0; Minorca from 2973.6 to 3347.9; Formentera from 1906.9 to 2049.7.
The seven-day incidence in the Balearics is up from 1334.6 to 1372.5.
On hospital wards, there are 376 Covid patients, an increase of nine - Mallorca 310 (+10), Ibiza 55 (+1), Minorca 11 (-2). The ICU Covid occupancy rate is down from 26.29% to 25.40%, three fewer patients and a total of 86 - Mallorca 78 (-2), Ibiza six (-1), Minorca two.
Primary care in the Balearics is monitoring 64,146 people, an increase of 2,109 since Wednesday (there was no update of this figure on Thursday). In Mallorca specifically, there are 49,571 cases, a daily increase of 275.
The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic has breached the 200,000 mark - 200,332. The number of deaths is 1,109; the ministry has confirmed two more deaths.
