Fornalutx school was closed this morning after near torrential rain hit the area. Teachers ordered pupils indoors and then decided to close the school completely until flood water could be cleared.
The fire brigade were at the scene this afternoon trying to pump rain-water clear of the main playground in Fornalutx, near Soller.
The unsettled weather will continue all week.
