A Mallorca building company was fined for sacking one of their employees via a short whatsapp message.
According to court papers, the foreman sent a message to the worker in question telling him he was no longer needed. But the employee took legal action and won the case because the company has a duty to inform their staff of any working changes in a proper manner.
