Just hours after central government in Madrid announced the blanket wearing of masks on beaches and around public swimming pools from today until at least the end of the state of alarm in May, it has been announced that fines of 100 euros will be handed out to those failing to comply with the new law.
However, in the Balearics, the local authorities said this afternoon that they will be unable to properly enforce and police the new law.
