Easter is cancelled and there will be none of the hugely popular processions and parades. The Bishop of Mallorca had initially decided to wait and see if there was any improvement in the Covid situation.
But this morning he took the decisions to cancel all the events which had been planned across the island.
These colourful processions are popular with tourists and residents alike.
