The Guardia Civil are searching for a fourth person involved with the attempted robbery in Inca on Thursday evening which resulted in the death of one of the robbers.
It was initially thought that there were three robbers, one of whom was stabbed to death. A second was wounded and a third escaped by car but was stopped and arrested. A fourth person, whose identity the Guardia Civil have, fled the scene on foot.
At around eight o'clock on Thursday evening, as darkness was falling, the four arrived at a finca on Camí de Can Boqueta, which is on the outskirts of Inca. The Guardia Civil have established that the four believed that there was no one there. They intended stealing marijuana plants. However, the owner of the property was there. He confronted them, stabbing one of them six times. Two of these stabs, which struck the rib cage, proved to be fatal. The owner was arrested.
