Outrage at cyclists relieving themselves in public has returned. And the circumstances of the outrage are much as they have been in the past.
The location is again Andratx, and it is apparently groups of cyclists - German and Dutch, it is said, bused in from the north of the island - who are once more responsible. The excursion organiser takes the cyclists to the centre of Andratx. After they return from their cycling route (or indeed before they return), they need to go to the toilet. Instead of using facilities in bars, the cyclists opt for outside alternatives, such as pavements and even a square next to a children's playground. Responses to this behaviour include shouts of "pigs" and "go back and piss in your own country".
For some years, Andratx police have had to calm things down, as it has been known for residents to come to blows with cyclists. The town hall has in the past installed temporary toilets, but not this year.
Residents have been taking photos of the cyclists and posting them on social media in an attempt to shame the town hall into action and to no doubt also shame the cyclists.
