One of the most emblematic and luxurious cruise liners afloat, Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth, docked in Palma today on its way to Greece. The 90,901-tonne, 2,300-passenger ship, also known as QE, is Cunard’s newest luxurious ocean cruise liner.
The ship is a reminder of the rich inheritance of the first Cunarder to bear the name. The stylishness both echoes that legendary age and improves the luxury modern charm. With a black hull, white structure and red funnel signals, externally the Queen Elizabeth has the charm of the company’s heritage, following Cunard’s tradition, which dates back to 1840.
Modern luxury and the best of Cunard’s values are what guests can expect on board the Queen Elizabeth. The ship is one of three liners operated by Cunard: the Queen Mary 2 and the Queen Victoria have both also visited Palma.
The Queen Elizabeth put into Palma in heading to Greece from Southampton, this summer's base. There were four cruise ships in Palma today: the Independence of the Seas, TUI Discovery and Aida Stella were the others. Star Breeze will be in port tomorrow.
