Majorca-based Air Europa has scheduled more than sixty additional flights to the Balearics and the Canaries over the Easter period. These would add almost 11,000 seats in order to meet the demand for both destinations.
The additional flights are to be made available between 17 March and 3 April in order to ensure connections for all passengers to the two most in-demand destinations this Easter. These connections are between mainland airports and the islands. The majority of the places are in fact being dedicated to flights to the Canaries. Forty-six more flights will go to those islands, taking more than 8,000 passengers, while there are fifteen more for the Balearics, with 2,800 seats.
