Autumn in the Balearics is likely to be wetter than usual but also a bit warmer than normal, according to the forecast from Eltiempo.es. and today’s storms in parts of Majorca were just a taster of what is to come further down the line.
It says that it is “probable” that there will be more rain than is typical, and this will also be the case in other Mediterranean regions of Spain.
The likelihood of wet weather is being increased by the presence of cooler than usual temperatures in the northern Atlantic near to Ireland and low pressure between two anticyclones in the Azores and Scandinavia.
