Biel Barceló, the vice-president and tourism minister, has responded to a German television report which highlighted poor working conditions in the hotel industry.
The regional government, he says, have already put in motion mechanisms to address the insecure nature of employment in the tourism sector.
Unions, employers and government, he added, must work together in order to correct issues that need correcting. He accepted that the report portrayed a negative image, but it was something from which “you cannot hide.”
