Portixol gastronomy route could be launched

While the argument over expanding the traditional port in El Molinar rages on, restaurateurs in Portixol have come up with an idea of creating a gastronomy route through the port. Over the past decade, the area has blossomed into an extremely popular foodie location and the PP’s candidate for Mayor, Margalida Duran, has recently met with local restaurant owners to discuss the idea of  transforming the area into a foodie destination. Apparently, other gastronomy routes which are also being devised for Palma and Portixol would sit well with the new attraction, according to Duran.
