The 59 patrol cars belonging to the National Police force in the Balearics will be brandishing slogans to raise awareness against domestic violence.The announcement was made yesterday by the central government delegate to the Balearics Teresa Palmer, explaining that the move is part of a massive national campaign to try and put an end to the problem.
“We want to raise awareness to the problem and try and prevent these sort of crimes. Hopefully this campaign will encourage not only the authorities but local citizens to provide a quick and swift response when such situations occur.” All patrol cars will have a logo with the message “say no to domestic violence (Di no a la violencia de genero) to try and spread the message to as many citizens as possible.
