The average price for a night in a Balearic hotel has gone up by 25 percent this month compared with February 2014, a report revealed by a travel comparison website yesterday confirmed.
A night in a local hotel this month could cost visitors up to 137 euros per night per person on average. Palma is in fact the most expensive city in the country in February to spend a night, with an average price of 115 euros.
Prices in the Balearic capital went up by five percent in the space of a year but are down nine percent compared with 2012 (119 euros).
Cadiz with 103 euros , Las Palmas with 98 and Barcelona with 96 follow on the list.
The four cities are the only ones above Spain’s average of 90 euros per night per person.
