Plans to reform the Playa de Palma have once again been put on hold after technicians from the Council of Majorca spotted some “imperfections” that need to be addressed before the project continues.
The Urban planning department for the Council explained yesterday that they are set to present a report highlighting the issues that need to be addressed, since they are under pressure from the Ministry of Industry and Environmental Health to adjust a few details to comply with state regulations.
The reform, included in the Interior Reformation Plan, overseen by the Playa de Palma consortium, is still set to go ahead according to Alvaro Gijon, manager of the consortium, who explained yesterday that these changes were predictable and so was the delay.
