Sant Llorenc Council in Cala Millor yesterday announced plans to invest over five million euros to change the face of the local sea front.Tourism councillor Nicolau Bordal said the municipality was in need of a change in order to continue to attract visitors to the area both in the summer and the off season.
And, the poor state of some of the infrastructure by the sea front has become clear over the last few months.
The bicycle lane will be redesigned not to clash with the pedestrian lane, new chill out areas will be created, trees will be planted all over the sea front, brand new outdoor furniture put in place including benches and sun shades, all taking into account the latest design trends.
