The Balearics are the most expensive region in Spain to fill up your petrol and diesel tank, according to a report revealed yesterday by a price comparison website.
Prices are eight cents more expensive than the national average. The price for Petrol 95 is the highest in the country at 1,46 cents per litre. Galicia and Castilla Leon come next in the ranking. The same occurs with diesel prices, with drivers in the Balearic region paying up to 1,39 cents per litre, drivers in Galicia 1,36 and Castilla and Leon 1,34.
Filling up a standard 60 litre petrol tank can cost a local driver up to 87, 52 euros, 3.93 euros more than the country’s average.
