Palma.—Manacor council has taken over the refurbishment work of the can Bauza building in the hope of speeding up the process so it can be able to move some of its offices to the premises by May next year at the latest.
The council is set to invest half a million euros in to refurbishing the basement, ground floor and first floor of the property, located between Calle Major and Convent del Centro.
Planning
San Jose Construcciones, the company chosen by the authorities to conduct the work, is already planning the refurbishment project.
Sources from the council said this week they are expecting the work to take between three to five months to complete.
