THE Bank Holiday weekend looks set to be hit by freezing weather, high winds and rain, according to the Palma Met Office. Yesterday, the temperatures plunged giving the island a real taste of winter. The Met Office said yesterday that it expects the cold weather to continue until the middle of next week. In some parts of the mainland snow is being forecast for this weekend. While November will be remembered for its high temperatures December has arrived with a hint of winter.
