A review of the city of Palma published in the Sunday Times last weekend has left Palma City Council officials over the moon and delighted their efforts to continuously improve tourism infrastructures which are paying off.
The renowned British publication dedicated a whole page to the Balearic capital, including a weekend day by day guide of what to do in the city, where to eat, stay and the best way to get there.
The newspaper described Palma as a “sexy, historic seaside town”, and recommended all those who visit it, not to miss out on value-for- money meals at Marc Fosh’s restaurant , drinks at Ginbo’s or the endless cultural offer around the city. The article, “entitled the big weekend”, did have a small hint on what could be done to improve it further. It read “Majorcans don’t really do Sundays and most restaurants are closed,” hence the lack of description of Sunday activities.
