Palma.—Son Sant Joan airport in Palma registered the highest figures with 21,757,221 passengers in total.
According to a report released yesterday by airport authority AENA, the number represents an increase of 1.3 percent when compared with the same period last year.
International flights were responsible for over three quarters of the total amount with 17.426,332 passengers.
But the number of visitors departing or arriving in the region on domestic flights also rose.
The 4.318,555 remaining passengers represent an increase of three percent compared with 2013.
A total of 159,567 flights were registered during that period.
