The Mayor of Palma, Mateo Isern, yesterday presented the budget for 2015 and announced the amount of money invested in social services will be increased, municipal taxes will be frozen and the council’s debt reduced.
The total budget is going to be 379.3 million euros and 2.58 percent of that is going to pumped in to social services. Isern, accompanied by the Councillor for the Economy, Julio Martinez, said that the budget has been draw with the public’s interests at heart, hence why taxes are being frozen and there is going to be more money spent on social welfare.
