The Balearic High Court yesterday announced that the review of the sentence handed down to the former Partido Popular President of the Balearics, after having been found guilty of bribery, has been postponed until 14 May.
The hearing should have been held at the end of this month.
Matas, who was the Minister for the Environment in Jose Maria Aznar’s government, has been fined 9,000 euros and ordered to return 42,111 euros he received from a well known hotelier who hired Matas’s wife in 2007.
