“With all these stories of corruption coming out Spain, it’s emblematic that it’s reached the throne...”

The foreign media perspective

IT was the top story on the BBC with journalists and TV channels from the United State to China covering yesterday’s events with perhaps more interest than their Spanish colleagues.
TV reporter Jeppe Krogager (pictured above) from Denmark’s TV2 who had travelled especially to Palma to cover the Princess’s court appearance said that Denmark has been following developments very closely.
“The interest is very high, it’s exceptional considering we have a Spanish Princess’s private life being investigated in court, what she has been spending her money on and all that.
“So, it’s very interesting for us and it’s not every day that a Princess goes to court.
“Ihave already broadcast live earlier this morning, will now shortly post a news bulletin and then go live again later throughout the day.
