Palma.—The President of the Balearic government Jose Ramon Bauza and Tourism Minister Jaime Martinez held talks with representatives from the British travel company Jet2 at the Fitur tourism fair in Madrid on Wednesday evening.
Government sources said that the British travel firm was upbeat about the prospects for the forthcoming Summer season and informed Bauza and Martinez of their tailor-made cycle holidays on Majorca which they have recently launched.
Jet2 has recently announced that they will begin operating flights to the island in March.
