At 3pm yesterday, the deadline for Princess Cristina to lodge an appeal against her Palma court summons expired.
Palma.—National TV channels broadcast the news live from outside the court house where the Princess will appear on the morning of 8 February to answer questions about alleged tax fraud and money laundering through a company she had with her husband.
The examining Palma Judge, Jose Castro, wants to determine how much knowledge or participation the Princess may have had in her husband’s company’s activities. Her husband, Iñaki Urdangarin, the King’s son-in-law, already faces preliminary charges in the same case.
