Palma.—Summer 2016 is going to see the Playa de Palma undergo its biggest make over yet, Palma City Council confirmed yesterday.
All of the famous, or infamous, “balnearios” along the seaside resort are going to have a theme and each is going to offer different and new services and facilities.
With the ambitious project to completely reform the Playa de Palma on hold for financial reasons, Palma’s Councillor for Tourism, Alvaro Gijon, said yesterday that a more modest three million euros is being invested in the project which is going to totally change the face of the resort.
