The green light has been given for a private heliport to be built in Port Adriano.
Palma.—The all clear for the project has been given by the Balearic Environmental Commission which, after a lengthy viability and environmental impact study, has concluded that a heliport in the luxury marina, poses no environmental threat to the area surrounding the yacht club in El Toro, Calvia.
The commission has given permission for an elevated landing pad to be built inside the marina which must not exceed the height of 10.5 metres.
What is more, the commission has concluded that because the flight path heads directly out to sea, it would pose neither a threat to residential areas nor protected environmental zones.
