The Santa Ponsa German Christmas market. From today to Sunday 22 December at the area near the Galatzo school. Promising to be bigger and better this year with plenty going on for adults and kiddies, the opening times are 10am until 10pm Monday to Friday.
Christmas Fair at The Salvation Army. Todayfrom 10am to 1pm with many stalls, including homemade cakes, bric-a-brac, crafts, knitted items and much more. The church is located at Calle Jadiel Poncela 2, in Son Caliu in Palmanova. Entrance is 1 euro includes cup of tea. Info 674 033 438.
Baleares International College Celebrations from Around the World. Today starting at 11am there will be bar, BBQ, singing, Santa Claus, International Stalls, Xmas Factor Preview, games, homebake, books, Bar, bric-a-brac. The school is opposite Western Water Park in Calvia. There is free parking in front of the old “Aquapark”.
Queen’s College Christmas Fair. Today Queen’s College Christmas Fair. From 10.30am to 1.30pm with traditional Spanish food and drink, coffee and  cakes, hot dogs, hot mulled wine, Father Christmas will be at his grotto at 11am, face paiting, bouncy castle, toys, games, lucky dip, books, golf, Christmas cards, crafts, plants, decorations and more. Entrance 2 euros for adults and includes door prize. Children are free. Grand raffle at 1.30pm. All money to go to local charities and to help families in the Philippines. The school is located at C/Joan de Sardakis, 64 in Palma.
Santa Ponsa Country Club. Tomorrow will hold their Christmas fair. There will be a vast array of Christmas goodies on sale at the market.
Charity Christmas Market. Tomorrow from 11am to 7pm at Porto Petro (Santanyi). To help Càritas and Can Gazà.

Christmas Market at Calvia village . On Friday 6 December. This is going to be quite agricultural, with country produce and also handicrafts and hand made items will be on sale.
Christmas Carols and Songs. On Tuesday 3 December at 7.30pm by the Musicmakers at Casa de Cultura in Alcudia Town. Tickets available at Little Britain and The Charity Shop. Admission is 5 euros and includes refreshments. All proceeds to charity. Another performance onThursday 5 December at 7.30pm at the Vecino Rooms in Puerto Pollensa. Tickets availabe from Musicmakers.
Calvia International Christmas Fair. On Sunday 8 December at Calle Riu Sil, in Santa Ponsa, that is the street where the post office and medical centre are. There will be Mulled wine and mince pies, Swedish meatballs and spiced Glug, cakes and sweeties galore, original and exquisite gifts and candles, hand made soaps and trendy hats. Woolly scarves and silk shawls etc. Santa Claus and Christmas carols. Free entrance.
Santa Ponsa Community Church Christmas Musical. On Sunday 8 December At 6.30pm called “From the Stable to the Cross”. Following the musical there will be mince pies and mulled wine. Free entry. Everyone welcome.

Carol Service. On Sunday 22 December at 4.30pm at the Salvation Army Church (Calle Javier Poncela, 2) in Son Caliu in Palmanova. This year may see the debut of our brass band and also our timbrel group, an event not to be missed.
