ON the eve of Majorca's largest agricultural fair, Dijous Bo, today in Inca, the Guardia Civil yesterday arrested three Colombians on suspicion of drug-trafficking.
As part of Operation Parabola officers seized half a kilo of cocaine and the same quantity of marihuana which the suspects had allegedly planned to sell throughout the streets during the fair. Investigations had actually started last September and a number of leads had been followed up. Within the last few days, the Guardia Civil had located the whereabouts of a major stockpile of drugs and anticipating its sale, officers decided to raid specific addresses.
As well as the narcotics, highly precise weight-measuring scales and other equipment for portioning and selling drugs were seized.
