A five-year-old girl who suffered horrific injuries after falling from a hotel balcony whilst on holiday in Majorca is walking again.
Milli Marklew, of Hinckley, Leicestershire, fell from the third-floor balcony last month, smashing her right arm, knee, pelvis and eye socket. She spent seven days in an induced coma in Palma's Son Dureta Hospital before being airlifted back to the UK.
Milli is now making a swift recovery and home with her family, following two weeks of care at Leicester's Royal Infirmary.
The incident happened just four hours after the girl's family arrived at their holiday accommodation in Sa Coma.
Mother Mairead said: We think Milli must have been going from my mother-in-law's apartment to find us when she leaned over the balcony. She must have stretched to get over it, but can't remember anything else that happened.
