alma.—The proposed plans to renovate and improve Molinar de Levante’s Yacht Club are a must if the club is to survive, announced the club president Rafael Vallespir in a press conference yesterday.
The club, the oldest of its kind in the Balearics with a mooring capacity for 120 small boats, fears that unless that space is increased to 315, conditions for vessels between 6 and 20 metres improved, as well as an extension of 290 metres to the port, they could fail to renew the current concession which expires in 2018.
