Palma.—The President of the Balearic government, Jose Ramon Bauza, appeared to be opposed to government plans to partly privatise Spanish airports yesterday.
He told the Balearic parliament that he supported calls for Spanish airports to be managed by the public administration and private companies.
“What we want is for a state organisation consisting of the government, local authorities and private companies to be set-up to manage our airports,” he said yesterday.
the plan was shelved because of a lack of interest.
