COMPENSATION seeking British tourists who complain about their holidays in the Balearics could be blacklisted by the UK's biggest tour operator.
The move by TUI Travel, which includes Thomson and First Choice, is targeted at serial complainers, who persistently press for compensation pay-outs.
The Balearic region receives more complaints from dissatisfied tourists than any other area served by UK tour operators. Majorca is among the top destinations for lack of customer satisfaction. Now TUI is to log customers who are regular complainers.
Customer services director Tim Williamson said: We are only talking about a tiny percentage of customers who are persistent troublemakers.
