There is clearly more to Majorca than Magalluf and that has been recognised by this highly respected  report published this week.

Palma.—The  new survey ranks destinations  according to the quality of their schools, weather, leisure options  and restaurants and  while Dubai came out on top, Majorca came joint second with Geneva and the Cayman Islands followed by  Cyprus which came in third.
Dubai achieved the highest ranking for its  education services and its core  climate  helping it to come in the top three positions in three  out of the four categories:  education, climate, leisure  pursuits and availability of  top quality restaurants.
