While the debate over holiday rentals continues, TripAdvisor has inadvertently fanned the flames with a report released yesterday.
According to recent research by TripAdvisor, families or large groups can save up to 39 percent on the cost of their holiday by renting holiday accommodation as opposed to staying in a hotel.
Looking ahead to advising Spaniards on how to save money this Autumn and Winter, TripAdvisor is urging large groups to consider rented accommodation. For example according to TripAdvisor, which recently opened a centre in Palma, the average rate for renting two bedrooms in the Balearics is 754 euros this Autumn and Winter while staying at one of the few hotels which are going to be open over the next six months, will cost as much as 1,238 euros for the two rooms.
