September hotel bookings looking good

MAJORCAN hotels reached an occupation of 95.3 percent in August, four percentage points more than at the same time last year, according to sources from the Majorcan Hoteliers Federation (FEHM). This is a figure at which hotels are considered to be “full” and which confirms the upward trend of the last few years.
At the same time, the Federation highlighted “the good signs” which the occupation for September is showing.
They say that all the signs are that September will end with tourist figures above those of last year, as the influx of visitors “is continuing without the ups and downs of previous years and, more importantly, without hotels having to reduce prices”. Another positive sign is that it has been confirmed that bookings for the month of October have also been sold without the need to reduce prices.
This, together with the rest of the figures, makes everyone think that “we will have a very good season” which will serve as a reference for the bookings for next year, according to the sources from the Hoteliers Federation.
