THE bus and train information office at the bus depot in Calle Eusebio Estada attended 11'400 requests for information in July, 3'378 by phone and 8'029 in person.
Only two per cent of the telephone calls were to complain about the service, a spokesman said.
He added that only 0.2 per cent of the visits to the office were to complain.
Half the enquiries came from Balearic residents, 12 per cent from visitors from the rest of Spain and 38 per cent from foreigners.
The office handled an average of 109 phone calls a day (971 177777) amd an average of 259 visits a day.
