Briton, 21, injured in a 20 metre fall

A YOUNG British holidaymaker, who has not been named, was rushed to Son Dureta hospital yesterday, after falling 20 metres in Magalluf, emergency service sources reported yesterday.
The accident occurred at around 2.30am yesterday, and the Local Police say that the man was saved from more serious injury because his fall was broken by a tree and several bushes.
Local Police officers of Calvia gave the victim first aid until an ambulance arrived to take him to hospital.
According to reports he suffered head injuries and he was kept in hospital for observation.
He was due to have a TAC yesterday to determine the extent of his head injuries.
Yesterday morning, neighbours said that they had not heard any noise during the night and were unaware of the accident.
The incident is being investigated by the Guardia Civil, it was reported yesterday.
It occurred just a few metres from the scene of a similar accident a fortnight ago. On that occasion a 24-year-old British tourist fell from a height of ten metres and had to be rescued by the Local Police.
