PROTESTING workers employed by ex Palma-based airline Spanair were demonstrating for the fourth time outside the company's headquarters yesterday holding the airline President, Ferran Soriano up to ridicule.
Dressed for the beach and clustered round a parasol, workers were lambasting Soriano for claiming publicly that they lived very well on Majorca. The staff are complaining about rushed moves to get them transferred to Spanair's new base in Barcelona and are claiming that there will be hidden redundancies amongst handling and administration staff.
