BUDDHIST monks from the Gaden Ngari monastery are preparing a mandala, a Buddhist sacred symbol, at the Es Figueral sports centre in Capdepera.
It forms part of a Buddhist ritual which will end at 6pm tomorrow, just before a concert at the Torre Cega gardens in Cala Rajada.
The doors of the sports stadium are open to visitors.
The six monks who are working on the mandala come from one of the most emblematic monasteries of Tibet. Conditions are so harsh at the monastery that the monks are on a fund-raising tour to improve conditions.
