THE Balearics is home to four of the most expensive and luxurious properties in Spain.
According to a report published yesterday by Idealista.com, the Balearics also houses the second largest number of exclusive properties on the market in Spain. Twenty-three percent of the country's luxury houses are in the region, only Madrid has more with a 53 percent share of the top end of the property market.
Apparently, the most expensive property currently for sale in Spain is in the Port of Andratx with a price tag of 18.5 million euros.
The second most expensive is a 18 million euro villa in the Port of Pollensa. A 16 million euro mansion in Camp de Mar is the country's third most expensive property and a nearby 12.7 million spread in Andratx, the fourth.
