Sir Henry Cecil, ten times champion horseracing trainer, who put a final crown on his career last weekend when at Ascot the four-year-old Frankel won a fourteenth successive race in his final appearance.
Sir Henry has had care of this great racehorse -- perhaps the greatest of all time -- since his first race as a two-year but has had to manage Frankel's career while also battling a debilitating chest cancer that has damaged his vocal chords.
On TV after the race Sir Henry could only croak his view that Frankel was the best I've ever known.
