THE Arabella Sheraton Hotel in Son Vida celebrated their annual summer party on Friday night and almost 200 guests were treated to a great night at the leading island hotel. Guests were greeted by Carsten K. Rath and Stefan Schorghuber of the Arabella Group. Among those attending was local minister for tourism, Francesc Buils and the British Consul Paul Abrey. The Arabella Group owns three hotels on the island, the Arabella, the Castillo Son Vida and the Mardavall. Soon Son Vida will have three golf courses. Golfing director James Arnold said that the third course will open in September. Arnold, who is British, and who has recently taken over his role as golfing director, said that they had introduced numerous changes including opening the golf course at 6a.m. for those keen golfers who like an early start and a good discount.
He is also working on numerous other interesting golfing ideas.
