THE Friends of Cala Carbó Association (AK2) will be participating in the Albercuis Art Acció 2005 event by bringing four different artists together, which will offer micro-poetry, electronic music, as well as Shiatsu and Reiki in a chill-out room.

Health centre approval

THE Council of Majorca has given the green light to the proposal to build a new health centre in the area, which will cost approximately 4.4 million euros. These funds to pay for the building will be split over several years, with 25'000 euros granted for this year and 490'000 euros granted each year up until 2014, said the spokesperson for the Council, Joan Flaquer. The building will consist of ten consulting rooms, nurses rooms, three paediatric rooms, amongst other facilities.
