Win the chance to play a tennis star

Matthew O'Connor

THE Mallorca Grand Champions tournament returns to the island next month with a whole host of former greats from the tennis world battling it out for the coveted trophy. The event, from May 23 to 25, will be hosted at the Santa Ponsa Country Club.
As part of the tournament the Bulletin is proud to offer the incredible chance to play a short game of tennis on centre court with former doubles legend Mansour Bahrami as well as two grandstand tickets to watch Sunday's action. Bahrami is one of the all-time favourites on the Masters tour, his antics and skill on the court enthral and delight all who watch him play. The Iranian is also one of the most interesting characters in the game having never had a coach and having been forced to miss three years at the peak of his career after the Iranian government closed all tennis courts. Also competing at the Mallorca Grand Champions will be three-time Wimbledon champion Boris Becker, French Davis Cup champion Yannick Noah, Spanish champion Emilio Sanchez and German Davis Cup player Carl-Uwe Steeb. The Grand Champions weekend will start off with a Pro-Am tournament at Golf de Andraitx followed by the opening party at the Hotel Dorint. On the Saturday night the Casino will host Yannick Noah and his band for a Gala night of reggae and soul music. Tickets for the event are currently available from all branches of Kuhn and Partner Inmobilaria, the Santa Ponsa Country Club, El Corte Ingles, Tennis-Academy in Paguera and Tenis de Oro in Costa de la Calma. Daily prices are 32 euros for adults and half-price for 16 and unders.

To win this once in a lifetime prize to play with one of the best double players ever to have played the game then simply answer the following question:
What country does Mansour Bahrami originally come from?
