Drivers in the Balearics and Madrid are still paying the most for fuel in Spain. The latest study by the Treasury in Madrid confirms that, on average, fuel prices are the highest in the Balearics, above the national average of 83.7 cents per litre for unleaded petrol, 89.7 cents for leaded and 71.8 cents per litre of diesel. In the Balearics, drivers are paying an average of 84.3 cents for unleaded, 90.4 for leaded and 72.5 for a litre of diesel.
