Former Bond girl Daphne Deckers can now relax, she will no longer have to fly back to London from Majorca after her husband Richard Krajicek was knocked out of the Wimbledon quarter-finals yesterday. The Dutch model/actress who starred opposite Pierce Brosnan in Tomorrow Never Dies flew into Majorca on Wednesday with her two children and they are believed to be staying in the north of the island in a villa the tennis star says he found over the internet. The word in SW19 is that Deckers had had enough of the high tension and nerves, while others claim that the holiday had been booked a while back with neither husband nor wife allowing for the possibility that the 1996 Wimbledon champion would make it through into the second week. Krajicek has been out for 20 months after elbow surgery, and he never dreamed he would get this far at Wimbledon. Deckers, one of the most beautiful women in the world, wed the 30-year-old flying Dutchman in 1999 and the couple have two children. In an interview after Wednesday's epic match in which he beat Philippoussis, Krajicek confessed that he was going to miss out on the start of the family holiday he had been planning. I would never have expected this. I had booked my holiday house for today. My wife is already at the holiday house. That shows the trust I had in my ability to reach the second week, he said.
